SOLIS EXPOSES MORE OF POUGNET’S LIBERAL AGENDA, SUPPORTS CARD CHECK

Palm Desert, CA – During a rally last Friday in Moreno Valley, U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis affirmed Palm Springs Mayor Steve Pougnet’s liberal agenda to voters in California’s 45th Congressional District.  After reminding attendees of Pougnet’s support for the Administration’s $787 billion dollar stimulus package and ObamaCare, Solis revealed that Pougnet would be “the next vote for the Employee Free Choice Act,” which takes away the fundamental right of the American worker to vote for union representation through a secret ballot.  Reacting to Secretary Solis’ comments, Ryan Mahoney, Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) issued the following statements:

“Voters is this District should not be surprised to find out that Steve Pougnet supports another far left-wing policy of the Obama Administration.

“It’s obvious that Steve Pougnet shares the same liberal agenda as Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, and Barack Obama.  He will continue the reckless spending in Congress, increase taxes and regulations on small businesses, and expand the size and scope of the federal government.

“After the Pougnet/Solis rally on Friday, it’s clear that Pougnet is out of touch with the voters and is far too liberal for California’s 45th Congressional District.”
