BONO MACK EARNS CLEAR VICTORY AT DEBATE

Palm Springs, CA – Tonight, Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) squared off against her liberal opponent and Palm Springs Mayor, Steve Pougnet, in a televised debate on KPSP Local 2. At the conclusion of the debate, Ryan Mahoney, Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Bono Mack (CA-45) issued the following statements:
“It is clear that tonight is an overwhelming victory for Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack and its no surprise that Bono Mack is so popular and has been consistently re-elected by such a strong majority of voters in California’s 45th Congressional District.
“We saw tonight that Mary Bono Mack represents the people of this District and Mayor Pougnet does not. A proud fiscal conservative, Bono Mack understands that the greatness of America is built on the individual, not the government. Mayor Pougnet, on the other hand, is a Pelosi/Boxer liberal who supports the Obama Administration and wants to continue the very policies that are ripping this Country apart.
“After tonight’s debate, there is no doubt that Congresswoman Bono Mack is the clear choice for Congress.”
