BONO MACK CAMPAIGN RELEASES “BUS TOUR” INTERNET AD, HIGHLIGHTS POUGNET’S FAILED LEADERSHIP

Palm Desert, CA – Today, the Mary Bono Mack Campaign released an Internet ad entitled, “Bus Tour”, which highlights Steve Pougnet’s failed leadership as the Mayor of Palm Springs.  Since being elected as Mayor in 2007, unemployment in Palm Springs has skyrocketed, law enforcement officials have been fired, and local businesses, restaurants, and the City jail have been forced to close.  Following the release of this new ad, Ryan Mahoney, Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) issued the following statements:

“Steve Pougnet is a huge disappointment to Palm Springs and the entire Coachella Valley. His failed leadership has ruined the local economy and made the national recession even worse.”

“’Bus Tour’ offers a glimpse into Steve Pougnet’s Palm Springs where vacant signs litter Downtown storefronts and unemployment numbers are growing like the pot at our three new marijuana dispensaries.”

“Voters in California’s 45th Congressional District should not trust a Pelosi/Boxer liberal like Steve Pougnet.  He will ruin this Country, just like he ruined Palm Springs.”
