PELOSI BACKS POUGNET’S CANDIDACY

Palm Springs, CA – In reaction to the FEC report filed by the Pougnet for Congress Campaign which names liberal Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi as a financial backer of Pougnet’s Campaign, Ryan Mahoney, Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Bono Mack (CA-45), issued the following statements:
“I am not surprised that Mayor Pougnet would accept $2,000 from the most liberal and polarizing lawmaker in Washington. Nancy Pelosi and Steve Pougnet are one in the same. They both support government-run healthcare, the closing of GITMO, and the growth of entitlement spending and federal debt.
“It is clear that Pougnet is a pawn of the Democratic Party. He will walk lock step with Pelosi, Reid, and Boxer, supporting liberal policies that will destroy America.
“The people of this District cannot trust Steve Pougnet to represent their interests. He will only listen to his new friend and financial backer, Nancy Pelosi.”
