POUGNET GETS SCHOOLED ON HOW TO FOOL VOTERS

Palm Springs, CA -To further advance his skills in empty rhetoric and doublespeak, Mayor Steve Pougnet joined fellow liberals in Washington at a talking-terrorism school hosted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).  The weekend course focused on ways to manipulate voters into believing that Democrats are serious about National Security issues.

In response to Mayor Pougnet’s “graduation” from the talking-terrorism school, Ryan Mahoney, Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack, issued the following statement:

“Pougnet’s enrollment in the DCCC’s spin school exposes his weak stance on National Security.  Like a true liberal, Pougnet wants to shut down Guantanamo Bay and ensure that terrorists are read their Miranda Rights and tried in the same courts as American citizens.

“Even with a certificate of completion from the wordplay workshop, voters in the 45th Congressional District will see through Pougnet’s rhetoric and expose him for the liberal lackey that he truly is.”
