Palm Springs, CA – Following Mayor Pougnet’s lackluster “State of the City” address today, Ryan Mahoney, Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack, issued the following statement:
“Mayor Pougnet is completely out of touch with the people and business community in Palm Springs. Under his failed leadership, unemployment rates have nearly tripled and businesses in Downtown Palm Springs have been forced to close their doors. Pougnet blames State government. I blame Pougnet. His inability to lead and unwillingness to accept responsibility was confirmed by today’s speech. It’s sad.”
